Note: this is a basic underpinning knowledge session and does not teach hands on music production skills. You will leave with a certificate acknowledging your attendance and a foundation knowledge of the music business. Lesson lengths are approximate. This is Module 7 of our Music Production course which is delivered online via video conference by one of our experienced industry managers. In this module we look at some basic elements of the music business side of things including an introduction to copyright, publishing, distribution and music contracts. Minimum Age: 16 (please contact us directly at email@example.com to discuss teaching children under the age of 16). Prerequisite: Ideally people attending this session should already be producing to a standard ready for release and/or have been approached by a record label, publisher or similar. However, the session is open to anyone wanting to learn more about the subjects below.
