This is Module 1 of our DJ course which is delivered 1 on 1, face to face at one of our studios we have available (in the north of England) by one of our experienced DJ trainers. This session is intended to start at the very beginning of your learning journey. In this module we look briefly at the history of modern DJ'ing before identifying, understanding and setting up some of the equipment used. Note: this is a basic underpinning knowledge session and does not teach hands on DJ'ing/performance skills. You will leave with a certificate acknowledging your attendance and a basic level knowledge of DJ'ing equipment and how to set it up properly. Minimum Age: 16 (please contact us directly at tios@ravemail.com to discuss teaching children under the age of 16). Prerequisite: There are no prerequisites for this session. The session is open to anyone wanting to learn the subject(s) mentioned below. Module 1 – Getting started Origins Formats - Vinyl Formats - CDs Formats - Digital files (MP3, WAV, AIFF etc...) & USB storage.
