This is Module 1 of our DJ course which is delivered 1 on 1, face to face at one of our studios we have available (in the north of England) by one of our experienced DJ trainers. This session is intended to start at the very beginning of your learning journey. In this module we look briefly at the history of modern DJ'ing before identifying, understanding and setting up some of the equipment used. Note: this is a basic underpinning knowledge session and does not teach hands on DJ'ing/performance skills. You will leave with a certificate acknowledging your attendance and a basic level knowledge of DJ'ing equipment and how to set it up properly. This is Module 4 of our DJ course which is delivered 1 on 1, face to face at one of our studios we have available (in the north of England) by one of our experienced DJ trainers. This session is intended to follow on directly from "Learn to DJ - Module 3". In this module we look at some higher skills and "tricks" to demonstrate a deeper knowledge of the craft and really get the crowd going. Note: this session teaches advanced hands on DJ'ing skills as well as well as touching on music theory as far as it relates to DJ'ing. You will leave with a certificate acknowledging your attendance. After this session you will be crossing into expert territory by applying music knowledge and DJ'ing skills. Minimum Age: 16 (please contact us direct to discuss teaching children under the age of 16). Prerequisite: People attending this session MUST have either attended Modules 2 and 3 or be VERY capable of preparing performances and mixing music using modern DJ'ing equipment. This is Module 2 of our DJ course which is delivered 1 on 1, face to face at one of our studios we have available (in the north of England) by one of our experienced DJ trainers. This session follows on directly from "Learn to DJ - Module 1" and is intended to be the core part of our DJ'ing course - basically if you could only do one module to get you up and DJ'ing it would be this one. In this module we look at the fundamentals of DJ'ing properly using your ears in the first instance then moving on to DJ'ing using modern equipment. Note: this session teaches hands on DJ'ing. You will leave with a certificate acknowledging your attendance and an excellent knowledge of the skills needed to physically get DJ'ing properly at a basic level. Minimum Age: 16 (please contact us direct to discuss teaching children under the age of 16). Prerequisite: Ideally people attending this session will have attended Module 1 or have a basic knowledge of modern DJ'ing equipment.
